Kamryn and Joshua’s love story began in the most unexpected of places—a freshman math class at University High School Academy. At the time, they were just two classmates exchanging smiles and small talk, but from that very first conversation, something special sparked between them. Laughter turned into late-night chats, and before they knew it, they had earned the nickname “Day One”—a name that would become the foundation of a love story built on friendship, trust, and an unbreakable bond. From that moment on, they were inseparable, no matter what life had in store.

When college took them in different directions, Kamryn journeyed south to Clark Atlanta University in Georgia while Joshua stayed in Michigan to attend Michigan State University. Though miles stretched between them, their love only grew stronger. Through long phone calls that lasted into the early hours, whispered goodnights, and waking up to calls that had never ended, they proved that true love knows no distance. Each conversation, each message, was a reminder that their hearts remained as close as ever.

Through the years, they have walked hand in hand through every challenge, growing together, supporting each other, and never losing sight of the love that started it all.
